Live for Tomorrow

So, lets consider life for a second.

Most days of your life are pretty ordinary. Nothing extraordinary happens, whether good nor bad on a regular basis, on a day to day basis. So your given these days, right? These empty days to do with what you will. How do you take full advantage of that? For me recently I ask my self a question, I ask my self this question everyday, and truly almost every second.

What are you going to do today, to make tomorrow worth it? What are you going to do today, to make tomorrow a better day?

Now everyone has their own path and that path is defined by the goals you set, or the future plans you make. If you are not happy with that path, that road, or where it is going than I think its important to change the direction towards a better future.

It doesn’t have to be a huge leap. Really, just a small shifting in the way you do things day to day to make your life what you want it. Until you are on a path of your choosing, until you are where you want to be, for the rest of your life. But your destiny, your legacy, now those are things you have to fight for everyday.

Its easy to go on life on a day to day basis. just having events pass you by and you just go on being. But to be great, you have to lift your head up, you have to forge on with all the intensity of your heart and soul to make today a better day so tomorrow has a chance at being great. You have to get up everyday and ask yourself the question, you have to get up and embrace life fully. You have to embrace life fully or you might look back in a month, a year, a decade, and really just wish you had that time back.

To be great, it takes courage, it takes time. It takes sadness, heartbreak, love, and hate. Hard work, fortitude, strength and compassion. It takes a lot of things and then some more. But if you’re willing to get up everyday and throw yourself into a better life, into the person who you want to be and do all of this with conviction in your soul, you’ll look back in a month, a year, a decade, and you’ll realize that it was all worth it.

Everyone has different goals and dreams but everyone wants to be happy.

So, what are you going to do today, to make tomorrow worth it? What are you going to do today to make tomorrow a better day?

I think if you ask yourself that, and you really, truly look for an answer, I’m pretty sure you’ll find one. I’ve certainly already begun the search, have you?

  1. Good Tucker! I was thinking that you should give a try at writing poems. Not joking! What you write is great but you would be a real original if you were giving your message in a poem. Think about it and give it a shot, good luck, Luc

  2. hah! taking a break from work and looking to see what Tucker is up to – not expecting to be personally challenged! Perhaps I should know better 😉
The photo at the top today is of a sunrise? and a person standing next to a lamp post. Amazing photography. And it works rather well with the post too.

    1. hah, you should know better than to not expect some deep thinking when you come on here! 😉
The photo is from Chile, around 4 years ago taken on my way to dinner. They’ve got some crazy sunsets down there!
