Where the Beer Flows like Wine

So I just finished up some pretty painful races at Aspen but we are not going to worry about that! Those things are usually pretty brutal with people like Marcel Hirschier, Manfred Moelgg, Alexis Pinturault, and plenty of other World Cup athletes in attendance. I did what I could to “survive” those two days and thats pretty much just what I did. Survived. But hey, it wasn’t without its ups. The first race I was the second ranked American to finish and I scored some much needed Nor-Am points in both races. Those will hopefully get me into the seed, (top 15), in Panorama, Canada which is where my next tech races will be held.

In the interest of keeping this a video blog here is some of my racing from the past few days. First one at Loveland where I was 15th after first run and the other from Aspen where I… made it to the finish line!

This sport obviously comes with some serious danger too. Our coach was beside himself with stress as some of our guys took some pretty hard hits the first day. Unfortunately some injury did occur but thankfully nothing overly serious. Thank god!! Do you guys want to see it? Of course you do!

Needless to say I think we all deserved our day off today. We hit the gym, recuperated, and are now ready to take on some more training tomorrow. I am psyched to clean up what these last few days of racing have done to me. I was not totally psyched with how I skied but I look forward to making it better and better before I get in the gate again.

I am just about to start an edit on the Nor-Am prep and the races themselves so stay tuned for that. Other than that Colorado sunsets are flipping crazy!

Hope everyone is doing well! Stay classy

-Tucker

PS- Wish me luck for the $550 mil on the line! First lotto ticket ever purchased and I am pretty sure I am going to win…
